To use Binance on your phone, the first step is getting the app installed. You won't find Binance in some regional app stores, but that doesn't mean you can't install it. Whether you're on Android or iPhone, there's a way to get it set up.
The most direct approach is through official channels. Android users can directly download the Binance app — just follow the prompts to install after downloading. iPhone users need one extra step, which we'll explain in detail below. If you don't have a Binance account yet, you can sign up for Binance directly within the app after downloading.
Android Download and Installation
Installing the Binance app on Android is straightforward. After downloading the APK file from the link above, open your file manager, find the downloaded package, and tap to install. If your system warns about "installing from unknown sources," go to your phone settings and enable the "Allow installation from unknown sources" permission.
The path to enable this varies slightly by brand. Generally it's under "Settings > Security > Unknown Sources" or "Settings > App Management > Install Permissions." Once enabled, tap the installation package again to proceed.
After installation, open the app and log in to your account to start using it. If you don't have an account, there's a registration portal in the app — the process is the same as on the website.
iPhone Download and Installation
iPhone is slightly more involved since some regional App Stores don't carry Binance. You'll need an Apple ID from another region to download it. If you already have a US, Hong Kong, or other overseas Apple ID, simply switch to it and search for "Binance" to find and download.
If you don't have an overseas Apple ID, you can create one. Register an Apple ID with a new email, select US or Hong Kong as the region — no credit card required since the Binance app is free. After registering, switch to the new ID in the App Store and search for the download.
Post-Installation Setup
After installing the app, there are a few settings worth configuring right away. First, enable biometric login (fingerprint or face recognition) for both convenience and security. Second, turn on the app's notification permissions so you receive timely alerts when trades execute or your account shows unusual activity.
It's also recommended to set the app language to your preference. Binance has excellent localization, with all features and prompts available in multiple languages.
How to Update the App
Android users can check for updates within the app or download the latest APK installation package for an overlay install. iPhone users can update from the overseas Apple ID's App Store.
