How to Set Up Binance Passkey for Passwordless Login

Published on 2026-03-17 | 3 min

Set up Passkey on Binance to log in with fingerprint or face recognition instead of passwords.

What Is Passkey?

Passkey is a next-generation authentication method that replaces traditional passwords. After setup, log in using fingerprint, face recognition, or device PIN. Based on the FIDO2 standard, it's phishing-resistant (bound to specific websites), leak-proof (private key never leaves your device), and unguessable (no password string exists).

Register on Binance, then set up Passkey.

Setup Steps

On mobile: Binance app > Profile > Security > Passkey > Add Passkey > verify biometrics > done.

On web: Account Security > Passkey > Add > browser prompts creation > verify (Windows Hello, Touch ID, etc.) > done.

Supported Devices

iPhone (iOS 16+), Android (9+), Mac with Touch ID, Windows with Hello, Chrome browser.

Login Flow

Enter email/phone > prompted for Passkey > verify fingerprint/face/PIN > logged in. Takes just seconds.

Security

Extremely secure: anti-phishing (bound to domain), private key stays on device, biometric required every time, cannot be brute-forced.

Can You Set Multiple Passkeys?

Yes. Set up on all your commonly used devices — phone, backup phone, computer — so losing one device doesn't lock you out.

Download the Binance app to set up Passkey. Strongly recommended for all users.
