If you've been logged out unexpectedly while trading on Binance's website, it's the session timeout security feature. Register on Binance and download the Binance app — the app maintains longer sessions.
Can You Change It?
Yes. Security settings > Session Timeout > choose 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc. Shorter = more secure but less convenient.
Why It Exists
Protects you if you forget to log out on a public computer or walk away from your device.
Recommendations
Private devices: longer timeout (2 hours). Public/shared devices: shorter timeout (15 minutes) + manual logout.
App Security
The app can also require biometric unlock (fingerprint/face) on each launch, adding protection even when the session is active.
Frequent Logouts?
Check if the timeout is set too short, or if browser extensions are clearing cookies. Unexpected logouts might indicate another device logging in — check login history and change your password.
