Margin trading requires transferring funds from spot to margin first. Register on Binance and download the Binance app.
How to Transfer
In Wallet Overview > Transfer > select "Spot to Margin" (or reverse) > choose token > enter amount > confirm. Multiple entry points exist (wallet page, margin page, asset details).
Cross vs. Isolated Margin
Cross margin: one shared pool for all pairs. Isolated margin: separate pools per trading pair. Make sure you're transferring to the right one.
Fees and Limits
Transfers are free and instant. No amount limits. But if you have outstanding margin loans, the system won't let you transfer out below the minimum maintenance margin.
Common Issues
Transferred to margin but balance didn't change? Funds may have been auto-applied to cover existing debt. Can't transfer out? Check for open loans or pending orders using your margin.
Unified Account Mode
If enabled, transfers between accounts aren't needed — all funds share one pool.
